The procedure for becoming a Communications instructor in the SCC is relatively simple. It's as easy as steps 1, 2 and 3!
Step 1: Apply for an Area acquaint weekend on an Area Staff Training Weekend. Contact your Area Staff Officer, using the details in your respective Area Directory and discuss the possibility of attending an instructor course if no such Area Courses exist.
Step 2: Work through the Adult Logbook as pre course training. This will ensure the course is not pitched too far above your head.
Step 3:Book yourself on a National Adult Instructor Course (General or Tactical) and enjoy!
